Hey, it's Bob.

Most 3.5 players think they're stuck because they need a better shot.
They're not. They're stuck because they're trying to win points too soon.
This week, I published an article for players chasing 4.0:
Patience: Why Most 3.5 Players Try to Win Points Too Fast
If you've ever felt like you're "almost there" but can't quite break through, start here.

Your Pickleball Game Is Running a Health Test on You — Whether You Like It or Not

Most players think pickleball tests their footwork, their paddle skills, and their cardio.
It is. But it’s also testing something much bigger — something most players never think about:
Your long‑term health
And the test is happening every time you step on the court.
Not in a lab.
Not in a doctor’s office.
Not with bloodwork or a cuff.
It’s happening in your grip. Read the story.

7 Kitchen Strategies to Avoid Getting Crushed in Pickleball

A Clear‑Eyed Look at the “Seven Strategies” Kitchen‑Line Video

There’s nothing wrong with the seven strategies in Kyle Koszuta’s video — most of them are solid fundamentals every player should know. But that’s also the point: they’re fundamentals. Useful, yes. Game‑changing, not exactly. Read my review.

Why Paddle Buying Guides Get It Wrong — And What Players Actually Need

I've Tested 500+ Paddles, Here's How to Pick Yours

This YT video by Pickleball Studio is one of the more organized paddle‑buying frameworks out there, and the structure alone is a real strength — most players have no idea what actually matters, and breaking things into primary vs. secondary categories is genuinely useful. But the video also suffers from the same issue most paddle reviews do: it treats the decision like a technical audit rather than a player‑specific problem.
