6. “The Dink and the Ego: A Pickleball Story” by Bob Savar

Marcus gripped his new pickleball paddle like it was one of his old tennis rackets, his knuckles white with determination. At seventy-two, he still carried himself with the confident stride of the college tennis champion he once was. Thanks for the Awesome Review of the Newsletter!
“Hi Bob, Happy New Year! I just ran across your newsletter and subscribed. So far, what I read...all I can say is, Wow! There is so much information, and I love your interview with Harriett. I've been playing on and off for 2 years. Now that I'm retired, playing usually 4 days a week at Patch Reef Park. I'm quite active and really love playing. Yes, and the social aspect and people I have met are my new best friends! I'm about a 3.0, but I always want to improve my serve and shots. Thank you for doing this newsletter, and I will share it with all my new PB friends.”
Kind regards, Dolce, Deerfield Beach
